The Treasury of Lives : ウィキペディア英語版
Treasury of Lives
The Treasury of Lives is an online, peer reviewed, biographical encyclopedia of historical religious masters of the Himalayan Buddhist and Bon religions.
==Background==
The ''Treasury of Lives'' website was established to provide short well-researched, clearly written biographies of notable religious masters of the Himalayan region, both Buddhist and Bon, illustrated with portraits. The project is funded by the Shelley & Donald Rubin Foundation. Portrait illustrations used in the biographical articles come from the Rubin Museum of Art. The Treasury of Lives is also closely linked with the independent Tibetan Buddhist Resource Center (TBRC). E. Gene Smith and Jeff Wallman of the TBRC were instrumental in defining the vision of the site and in forging the plan for its development; and its database of names also comes from the TBRC.
